Donnarae and John Phillips invited us to participate in an amazing race. We were the white team and you can see the bios they wrote for us on http://theamazingraceslc.blogspot.com/. It was a lot of fun and to top it off we won first place! The group behind us was only a few seconds behind so it was a close finish. Andy and Bree were on our team and we won a garden gnome trophy and a coldstone giftcard. It was so much fun, but we ran a lot and are pretty sore. We went to the coppermine, the magna fire station for a relay, Cabella's to count black bears and do some shooting practice. We also ran a lot from house to house, park to park naming tools in some guys yard, quick dinner break (which was timed), iceblocking and then to Thanksgiving point to run about a mile to the finish line. It was intense, trying to get ahead of people and going from place to place, but we had a fun time and look forward to doing another if we ever get the chance.

I have to add one more thing: Marc couldn't lift up his left leg this morning to walk normally. It may take a few days to recover from the amazing race!
What a fun idea. I've always wanted to be on the real show with Dave. Congrats on your first place finish.
Nice showing you two, nice showing :). We evidently left our mad skills behind that day (and/or our command of GPS knowledge).
Can we do dinner sometime soon?! Let us know if there is a good time for you guys, we would love to catch up ... when we're not eating your dust!
