Here is a little video from this morning and also a picture of Grace in her outfit from her great uncle Karl and great aunt Scharden. Daddy got her to smile. Grace likes to blow bubbles and smile.

2 Month Shots

Grace got her shots today so we decided to dress her in her Mysterio shirt from Brooke to cheer us all up. It's not like we could take her out to ice cream after. This was her before the shots showing off her cute self and the sleeping picture was taken after. She has had a little fever and seems to prefer sleeping over anything else.

Marc is Talented

The long awaited night has arrived. Grace has a bed and she is sleeping in it. Well, crying a little, but soon she will be sleeping. Marc did the honors of putting her in the cradle for the first time and she loves it. It swings back and forth which seems to calm her. It is beautiful and well worth the stress, long days, hard work, money and effort. We did not have the time to do this, but we fit it in over a period of 7+ months. Thanks to uncle David we have a family heirloom. There will be one more piece of brass on the top left side. It didn't fit as well as Marc had hoped so he will finish that up, but we brought it home tonight because Grace needed her bed!

We are determined to have the cradle done by Saturday. We are getting close!

Robots, People, Penguins and Bathtime

1. Robot: Marc finished his robot for his engineering class. It had to go up stairs. This took most of Marc's time this semester.
2. People: This is what we woke up to this morning. We thought it was our loud neighbors and Marc got pretty upset until we walked outside to complain to them.

3. Penguins: Grace saw penguins! The first time I went to see penguins the area was empty so I didn't believe in them. Grace will never have that problem.

4. Bathtime: Grace's new favorite thing is bubble baths. Daddy does a great job!

Grace's Blessing

We had Grace's blessing on Sunday. It was so much fun to have everyone in town...a little crazy with 750 sq. ft., but we made it work. Great-Grandpa Bert came from Ephraim, Great Aunt Linda came from Spanish Fork, Wasson and Eggertsen Grandparents and all aunts, uncles and cousins were there except for Nicole, Ryan and Alana. We got a few good pictures, but I think I may need to get some single ones of Grace taken in her blessing dress (which was mine also!). Hopefully we will get those done.

Also, sidenote...if anyone has rollerblades and a running stroller give me a call and come rollerblading with me. I have learned that going downhill is a bad idea, but going south on 300 or 400 west is a safer option. It's my new favorite thing to do.
