4 Months

Grace is 4 months old today. Marc is taking her to get her shots tomorrow while I am at work. I decided to pusposely plan this one so I wouldn't have to watch those big needles go into her little legs. We have also been working on standing and eating. It seems to be helping her a bit. While we were eating tonight we looked up at Grace in her Bumbo and she kept touching the ketchup and then licking her hand. Unfortunately my camera ran out of room just as she was taking her next taste, but at least it gives you the idea of what we were watching during dinner tonight. Cute little girl!

Grace's First Doll

We had a Wasson reunion this summer and Sarah Wasson gave Grace her first doll. She loves it as I'm sure you can tell from these pictures!

Week Before School

Before school started for me on the 26th we went to the 24th parade, I took Grace to the zoo while Marc was at school and we had fun strolling through Target.

Summer Fun

I had to throw these pictures in here too. I really don't know how to organize my blog...I just slap all the pictures in one post and call it good. This is us hiking the shoreline trail with our best buddies Hollie and Mike. Thanks for allowing me to steal the pictures Hollie. I passed on the one of me looking like a psycho. :)

We went to Heritage Park on Wednesday afternoon with Marc's parents. It was a lot of fun, but we only had an hour so we will have to go again sometime. Grace seemed to enjoy herself as you can see from the excitement in her photo. I told Marc to pick up the goat so we would have pictures of his dad and him holding a goat. They had goats when they lived in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight. New family tradition!

Also I attempted to take a picture of Grace's profile. I can't get over how much it looks like the profile from an ultrasound we got when I was 4 months pregnant. It's crazy that she was really inside me that whole time!

Laughing

Liz got Grace to laugh for the first time on the 4th of July. I was able to get the end of it, but it's not as genuine as the giggle was at the beggining. You can tell she was getting tired. After she was done laughing she slept for a very long time!

Cradle Bumper

My mom and sister helped me get through the last three weeks of school. My mom got here a week ago Tuesday and just left yesterday. It was so nice to spend time with her and of course Grace loved it too. My mom brought a cute little 4th of July outfit that she wore to the Granite parade yesterday. She also brought cute little red and blue sandals that she will be wearing today. I didn't want her little feet to get burned at the parade so that's why she is wearing the socks. Grace has also been working on rolling over. In the video her feet are cut off so you can't tell that I gave her a little tug on the foot right before she made it over. She had rolled over once or twice, but I can't seem to capture it on the camera. My mom also made the cute purple and green cradle bumper. I love it and I'm sure Grace does too. Now Grace can't get her little feet and hands through the spindles. I'm happy to know she will be able to sleep in there longer.
